Privacy policy

ReviewRamble is a reading site. There are no accounts and no comments. The only personal information we ask for is the email you give if you use our submission form, which Google Forms collects and stores on our behalf. This policy explains the limited data that is processed when you visit.

Last updated 24 October 2026.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms; see Google’s privacy policy and how Google Analytics safeguards data. You can block it with your browser’s cookie settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google Analytics and advertising cookies are not set until you choose Accept in the cookie banner; until then Google receives only cookieless signals under its Consent Mode. Your choice is stored in your browser. To change it, clear this site’s storage and the banner will appear again.

Advertising

ReviewRamble is funded by advertising from Google. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google’s Ad Settings, and learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Advertisers do not influence our reviews, ratings or rankings.

Fonts

Our typefaces are served from our own site, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service.

Hosting

The site is served through Amazon Web Services. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request details in order to deliver pages and protect the service.

Links to other sites

Reviews link to vendors, repositories and other sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, or to object to its processing. Because we hold no accounts or contact details, the analytics data described above is the main personal data involved; you can prevent its collection using the options above.

Children

ReviewRamble is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
