3.9/5

A handsome, EU-hosted deck editor for teams that send decks to clients, let down by thin AI and a compliance story that stops at SOC 2 Type I.

What it is

Pitch is presentation software from Pitch Software GmbH in Berlin, built for teams that make decks together. It focuses on clean design, shared templates and brand assets, real-time collaboration, and sharing decks as tracked links that show who viewed what. Pitch says it is used by more than 4 million teams; customers listed on its site include Perplexity, Pentagram and Feedly.

Its AI features include the Pitch Agent, which drafts a presentation from a prompt, along with AI credits for rewriting and image tasks. A Pitch MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants find, draft and share decks through OAuth on every plan, and an HTTP API, available on Business and Enterprise, lets Zapier, Make, HubSpot workflows or your own code create decks from templates with variables.

The free plan allows unlimited presentations for one to five people, with 100 one-time AI credits. Paid plans are priced per seat in euros on annual billing, which saves 17%: Plus (one seat), Team (up to 25) and Business (up to 200). Data is stored on AWS in Ireland.

Our review

Pitch is a better editor than it is an AI product, and it should be judged that way. Templates, brand controls, live collaboration and tracked share links are the reasons sales and fundraising teams adopt it; the Pitch Agent's drafts are a convenience on top. Teams that want the AI to write the deck will get further with Gamma.

The AI budget is small and shared. Plus and Team include 500 credits a month for the whole workspace and Business 750, with extra credits at $0.004 each. The price per action is not published, so a 30-person sales team cannot tell from the pricing page how many drafted decks 750 credits buys. The comparison table also contradicts the plan cards in places, PowerPoint export on Plus being the clearest example, so confirm the tier in writing before buying.

The more interesting work is in automation. The MCP server works on every plan and respects existing Pitch permissions, so an assistant can draft a branded follow-up deck from call notes without bypassing teamspace access. API keys and templates with variables, which are what a RevOps team needs to generate account decks from HubSpot, sit only on Business and Enterprise.

Security is adequate rather than strong. Data lives on AWS in eu-west-1 in Ireland, which suits European buyers, and Pitch states GDPR and CCPA compliance. Its own security page cites a SOC 2 Type I report, a point-in-time design check, not the Type II report that many procurement teams require. SAML SSO and SCIM are Enterprise only, and the published pages say nothing about which AI providers process deck content or whether it is used for training.

Against Google Slides, Pitch wins on design and link analytics; against Canva, it has fewer templates and integrations but a cleaner workflow for decks specifically. Its PowerPoint export remains a conversion step rather than a native format, so organisations that live in .pptx files will feel the seams.

Where it earns its place

  • A 30-person B2B sales team sending proposals from HubSpot

Send branded proposal decks and see which prospects actually opened them

Business at €20 a seat on annual billing (€600 a month) adds unlimited tracked links and the API, so a HubSpot workflow can fill a template with deal fields. The 750 shared AI credits will not stretch to heavy drafting across 30 people.

  • A seed-stage founder raising a round with two co-founders

Build one investor deck together and know who forwarded it

The free plan covers three people, but tracked links and engagement analytics start on paid tiers; Team at €15 a seat adds them plus 30 days of version history.

  • A RevOps engineer connecting Claude to the company's deck templates

Turn Gong call notes into a follow-up deck within minutes of a call

Add Pitch as a custom MCP connector and sign in with OAuth; the assistant only sees teamspaces the user can already open. Drafting through Pitch's AI spends shared credits, and admins can revoke keys and connected apps.
