Our rating

4.3/5

A calendar that defends your focus time without asking anyone to change task app, and the Business tier is where it earns its fee.

What it is

Reclaim.ai works on top of your existing Google or Outlook calendar. It uses scheduling "agents" to block focus time, schedule recurring habits, add buffers between meetings, find the best slot for team meetings and pull in tasks from tools like Todoist, Asana, ClickUp, Jira and Linear. Blocks move automatically as your week fills up. It also offers scheduling links and calendar sync across accounts.

Dropbox acquired Reclaim in 2024, and the product is now sold as "Reclaim.ai from Dropbox". The free Lite plan covers one user with five agents and schedules one week ahead. Starter costs $10 per seat a month on yearly billing ($12 monthly), Business $15 ($18 monthly) and Enterprise $22, yearly only, with SSO and SCIM.

Higher plans schedule further ahead (8 weeks on Starter, 12 on Business and Enterprise) and allow more agents, seats, syncs and integrations.

Our review

Reclaim works because it asks for so little change. It sits on Google Calendar or Outlook, reads tasks from Todoist, Asana, ClickUp, Jira or Linear on any paid plan, and moves focus blocks and habits as meetings land. For someone whose week fills by Tuesday, those self-defending blocks are most of the value.

The tiers are drawn with care, and the line that matters is Business. Starter at $10 a seat on yearly billing caps at 10 seats and schedules 8 weeks out. Business at $15 lifts the cap to 100 seats and 12 weeks, and adds delegated access for assistants, a team out-of-office calendar and webhooks. SSO and SCIM sit only on Enterprise, at $22 a seat and yearly billing only, which is a steep step for an IT team that simply needs single sign-on.

The permissions deserve a careful read. Reclaim's security page lists Google scopes to view and edit events on every calendar you can access, plus contacts and the Workspace directory, granted user by user rather than domain-wide. It holds a SOC 2 Type II report, hosts data on AWS in the US, and says calendars connected only for sync are held in memory and discarded. It does not say whether calendar data trains any model.

It is deliberately narrower than Motion, which bundles projects and tasks into its own app. Reclaim leaves your task manager alone. Dropbox ownership since 2024 has not changed that so far, and the Outlook support added since makes it a credible choice for Microsoft shops, but buyers relying on it for years are now betting on Dropbox's priorities as much as Reclaim's.

Where it earns its place

  • An engineering manager with 25 hours of meetings a week

Keep two hours a day for code review and planning

Set a focus-time agent with a weekly target; Reclaim books flexible blocks and moves them as meetings arrive. Starter at $10 a month on yearly billing covers it, with 8 weeks of scheduling range.

  • A 40-person product organisation on Google Workspace and Linear

Turn Linear issues into time on the calendar and schedule cross-team meetings

Business at $15 a seat yearly costs $600 a month for 40 people, pulls Linear issues into calendar slots and finds meeting times across attendees. Executive assistants get delegated access on this tier.

  • An IT lead approving a calendar tool for 300 staff

Roll it out with single sign-on and automatic provisioning

Only Enterprise, at $22 a seat yearly, includes SSO and SCIM, so 300 seats come to $6,600 a month. Review the Google scopes, which cover read and write on all calendars plus contacts and directory, and request the SOC 2 report from the Trust Center.
