Langdock is what a European company buys when it wants every model in one chat window and a works council that signs off without a fight.

What is Langdock?

Langdock (Y Combinator Summer 2023) is a company-wide AI workspace from Berlin. Staff get one chat app with models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others, can build shared agents connected to company tools, and can automate tasks with workflows. It runs on Microsoft Azure servers in the EU, holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, and does not train on customer data.

A Standard seat costs €25 a user a month, with a 7-day free trial and 20% off for annual billing. Langdock says more than 13,000 companies use it, including Merck, BASF and Trumpf. It has raised only about $3.5M, including a $3M seed led by General Catalyst in 2024; Sacra estimates its annual recurring revenue reached $42M in June 2026.

Is Langdock worth it?

Most companies already have staff pasting contracts into personal ChatGPT accounts. The IT department knows, and the data protection officer does not sleep well.

Langdock gives everyone a sanctioned alternative. One chat app offers GPT, Claude, Gemini and more than 40 models in total, so nobody needs three subscriptions. Teams can build shared agents that search company documents or act in other tools, and workflows automate repeat jobs. Single sign-on, SCIM and SAML come with the standard €25 seat rather than a separate enterprise contract.

The European angle is the reason it sells. Data sits on Azure servers inside the EU, Langdock says customer data is never used to train models, and it holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II. Very large customers can run it in their own cloud or on their own Kubernetes cluster from 5,000 seats. More than 13,000 companies use it, according to Langdock, and Sacra estimates annual recurring revenue went from about $16M at the end of 2025 to $42M by June 2026.

The catch: not every model runs in the EU; its security page says most models are hosted there, and the pricing page marks some, such as Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview, as global. The pricing page's volume table is hard to read, workflow runs above the included 2,500 a month cost €449 or more per workspace, and model use inside workflows is billed separately at API rates. A free trial lasts only 7 days.

Our take: for a 300-person German or French firm, €25 a seat for every major model with EU hosting and SSO included is a simpler purchase than negotiating separate enterprise deals with OpenAI and Anthropic; a US company with no data residency worries gets less from it.

Where it earns its place

  • The IT lead at a 300-person German manufacturer

Replace shadow ChatGPT use with an approved tool the works council accepts

300 Standard seats at €25 is €7,500 a month before volume discounts, or about €6,000 billed annually; SSO and SCIM are included, and EU hosting and the no-training policy go into the data protection assessment.

  • A legal operations manager at a pharmaceutical company

Give lawyers a contract-review agent grounded in internal templates

Build a shared agent over the template library; the governance add-on, free until 1 January 2027 and then €3.50 a user a month, adds review and approval of agents against EU AI Act and GDPR templates.

  • A platform engineer at a 2,000-person insurer

Offer internal apps an EU-hosted model API

The API add-on bills per token, for example €2.68 in and €13.38 out per million tokens for Claude Sonnet 4.6, and is described as GDPR-compliant and hosted in the EU.
