Our rating

3.3/5

Okara turns a website into a month of marketing drafts quickly, but you will spend real time editing them, and the strategy is only as good as what you feed it.

What is Okara?

Okara is a Singapore startup, founded by Fatima Rizwan, that sells an AI CMO: a set of marketing agents that start from your website. It first writes five strategy documents (product, marketing strategy, competitors, brand voice and content strategy), then runs agents for SEO, AI search visibility, influencers, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, long-form writing, UGC-style video briefs and technical SEO fixes.

Most output arrives as drafts you edit and approve; once you connect your tools, approved work is published and results reported back. The coding agent opens pull requests on GitHub with SEO fixes. You can also talk to the agents over WhatsApp or Telegram.

Okara also offers a private chat app, linked from its site. The AI CMO launched in March 2026 at $99 a month; the entry plan is now $129 a month.

Is Okara worth it?

If you run a small company, marketing is the job that never gets a full day. You know you should be posting, writing articles and answering people on Reddit, and none of it happens because the product needs you more.

Okara offers to do the first draft of all of it. You enter your website, it writes a strategy, and then separate agents produce blog posts, X and LinkedIn posts, Reddit replies and video briefs, all in the same brand voice. On Pro at $249 a month the plan promises at least 30 articles, 30 X posts, 30 LinkedIn posts and 30 video drafts a month.

It is busy: a Vercel case study from June 2026 says a team of four runs AI CMOs for 120,000+ businesses and processes 4 billion tokens a day. The homepage elsewhere says 150,000+ users, and the two figures do not match.

The catch: early reviews were harsh. Efficienist reported at the March launch that agents produced low-quality content and even suggested users tweet about Okara itself, and called it a basic Claude wrapper. Okara's own design keeps a person in the loop, with drafts waiting for your approval, and that step is not optional in practice. Reddit and Hacker News are quick to ban posts that read as automated, and 30 AI articles a month can thin out a site's quality if nobody edits them. The pricing page also mentions a free plan in its FAQ without listing one.

Our take: Okara is closer to a tireless junior marketer than a CMO. It is worth the money if you will spend an hour a day approving and fixing its drafts; if you want marketing to happen without you, it will either sit idle or post things you would not have written.

Where it earns its place

  • A two-person SaaS startup with no marketer

Publish steadily on the blog and LinkedIn without hiring

Pro at $249 a month drafts at least 30 articles and 30 LinkedIn posts a month from one strategy; someone spends time each day editing before approving, and WordPress or Webflow publishing happens after sign-off.

  • A technical founder whose site has weak search basics

Fix titles, metadata and page structure without doing it by hand

Connect GitHub and Search Console on Lite at $129 a month; the SEO agent finds issues and the coding agent opens pull requests you review and merge like any other change.

  • The marketing lead at a small e-commerce brand

See how ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews describe the brand

The GEO agent tracks up to 15 AI search prompts on either plan. That is enough for a core set of buying questions, not for broad monitoring.

Before you commit

Setup
Enter your website and start the 7-day trial; Okara writes five strategy documents before any agent drafts, and you connect publishing and analytics accounts afterwards.
Integrations
WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix and Sanity for publishing; Google Search Console and GA4; GitHub; LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook; WhatsApp and Telegram for chatting with agents.
Data and privacy
The homepage makes no data-handling or training claims beyond links to its privacy and cookie policies; SSO, role-based access and audit logs are Enterprise features.
Cost at scale
Pro is $2,490 a year billed yearly; agencies get lower per-website pricing on unpublished terms, and Enterprise adds volume pricing by number of websites.
Limits
